In fact, Dr. Krieger spent 20 years becoming an accomplished general dentist before going back to school to pursue his dream of becoming an orthodontist.
He was a top cosmetic dentist before specializing in orthodontics and understands the aesthetics of a smile and face like very few do.
To practice orthodontics, Dr. Krieger spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency).

Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires put continuous force on your teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. Meaning, you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.
