VMware Workstation allows technicians to develop, test, demonstrate, and deploy software while running multiple Windows, Linux, and other x86 operating systems on a single PC.
You can simulate server, desktop, and tablet environments in virtual machines and allocate multiple processor cores, gigabytes of main memory, and graphics memory for each virtual machine, whether the virtual machine is on a personal PC or in a private enterprise cloud.

Problem solved
The following issues have been resolved in VMware Workstation.
A Linux guest OS booted with EFI firmware sometimes does not respond to the keyboard and mouse if any mouse movement occurs for a short amount of time while the OS is booting. The problem was solved.
Outlook 2010 sometimes crashes when running in Unity mode. The problem was solved.
You cannot shrink or defragment persistent drives. The problem was solved.
The user interface sometimes crashes when users copy and paste files between two Windows guests. The problem was solved.
Fixed UI corruption in guest versions of Fedora 20 with 3D enabled.
When creating a new virtual machine using SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12, the easy install path is not available. The problem was solved.
