Choose Your Look
Most patients we treat choose traditional metal braces to straighten their teeth.
While metal braces are the most common type of orthodontic treatment, you have several other options, like Invisalign.
Dr. Krieger is an Invisalign Diamond Plus provider, which means he does more Invisalign than 99% any other orthodontist. You should go to him to make sure you get your treatment done right.
After your free initial consultation, Dr. Krieger will talk to you about which treatment would be right for you based on your unique needs and smile goals.
Fixed Vs. Removable Appliances
It's important to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances.
Fixed appliances, like braces, are attached to your teeth and aren't taken off until you complete your treatment.
Removable appliances, like Invisalign's aligner system, are worn about 20-22 hours a day but can be taken off easily.
Aside from the obvious differences, Invisalign aligners are best at treating mild to moderate orthodontic problems. Fixed appliances are generally needed for more serious and comprehensive treatment.
Invisalign® & Invisalign for Teens
Unlike traditional braces, this kind of orthodontic treatment doesn't rely on a system of metal or ceramic brackets and wires.
While traditional metal braces remain the most popular option for orthodontic treatment, ceramic braces can be a great choice for some patients.
Traditional metal braces are the most widely used type of fixed orthodontic appliance. They're very durable and economical.
InBrace hidden braces uses a personalized Smartwire that is placed behind your teeth to gently straighten your smile.
Snoring & Airway Treatment
Sleep apnea is a condition in which your breathing stops periodically during sleep, as many as 20-30 times per hour.
What Is Smile Design?
When you choose Dr. Krieger, you'll not only get a straight smile, you'll get a new smile specially designed for you.
Dr. Krieger has dental training and experience unlike any other dentist in the world.
Dr. Krieger spent 20 years becoming an accomplished general dentist before going back to school to pursue his dream of becoming an orthodontist.
He was a top cosmetic dentist before specializing in orthodontics and understands the aesthetics of a smile and face like very few do.
While most people think of teeth as being just a set of chompers, Dr. Krieger sees them as the artwork of your smile.
He pays special attention to not only the color but the shape of your teeth.
Oval teeth, square and triangular all have unique properties that Dr. Krieger thinks about when creating your new smile.
If the smile is the artwork, the lips are the frame. The shape, form and even how much the lips move all play a role in the way others perceive your smile.
Smiles aren't just a static bunch of teeth, but rather a dynamic arrangement of soft tissue and teeth that changes with every smile, laugh and word you speak.
While excellent gum health is essential for a beautiful smile, the actual architecture of the gums can play a significant role in how other people see your smile.
Gums that are thick and bulky need to be considered differently than those that are thin and frail. Dr. Krieger graduated from dental school with a minor in periodontics. That means he's an expert in gums.
Faces come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and other people view your smile within that shape.
Long faces and slender teeth need to be addressed differently than broad teeth and a wider face.
Dr. Krieger knows how to blend tooth shape and facial form for a beautiful outcome.
